What is
NexFall?
A 3–6 player vertical parkour climb where the only certainty is that nobody finishes clean.
NexFall drops you and up to five other players at the foot of a tower built to humiliate. Spike pits, swinging boulders, collapsing platforms, traps that look optional and aren’t — you climb, you fall, you respawn, you climb again. Every map ends in a finish line, and the only question is who reaches it first.
It's the best kind of frustrating. The kind of game where one mistake at meter 200 sends you all the way back to meter 0, and your friends will laugh at you for it. We built it for moments like that.
Three ways to play. Pick your poison.
Classic
Random offensive powerups join the climb. Fireballs, ice slows, lightning bolts, thunderstorms. Aimed at traps, aimed at friends. Pick your fights.
- ◆ Offensive powerups
- ◆ Shields & absorbers
- ◆ RNG-driven chaos
Hardcore
No powerups. No safety net. Just you, the tower, and a per-map leaderboard ranked by best time and fewest deaths. Climb skill, measured.
- ◆ No powerups
- ◆ Per-map ranking
- ◆ Replay validation
Ascent
One unbroken tower, climbed in a single push — no race, no shortcuts. The complete vertical experience: higher, longer, more punishing — on its own dedicated, towering map.
- ◆ One continuous climb
- ◆ Pure vertical challenge
- ◆ Higher, longer, harder
Built to ruin
friendships.
Three to Six.
Same Climb.
Every player runs the same map simultaneously. No instances, no separate lanes. You see them fall. They see you fall. The lobby loads, the timer starts, the screaming begins.
Brutal Traps
Spike pits, swinging boulders, collapsing platforms, knockback launchers. Every map is a puzzle, every solution can kill you. Checkpoints exist. We thought about removing them.
Offensive Powerups
Build a 3-slot deck pre-match. Fireballs, ice slows, lightning bolts. Aim at traps. Aim at the friend who beat you last round. We don't judge.
Per-Map Leaderboards
Hardcore runs are server-validated and posted to a per-map leaderboard. Ranked by best time, tied on fewest deaths. Cheat detection is automatic — your run gets re-simulated before it hits the board.
Built for the Chaos
Loud failure modes. Big knockbacks. Visible cooldowns. Every wipe is a spectacle the whole lobby sees — the kind of moment you and your friends replay for weeks. We designed the drama into every fall, not just the finish line.
Brother Byte Studio
Bochum · Germany · est. 2026
BrotherByte Studio is a small German indie team — three people building multiplayer games that turn into stories. NexFall is our first.
We build the kind of games we wanted to play with friends ten years ago and never found — the chaos, the laughter, the rage-quits, the "one more round" at 2 AM. If you’ve ever screamed at a boulder, you understand the mission.
